Medopsy is built by Amit Patel, MD — an anesthesiologist who took the oral boards the same way your residents will: in a room, under pressure, with an examiner who gives nothing away. The product exists because mock orals are the highest-value prep residents get, and faculty time is the scarcest resource in any program.
How the cases are built
Every case is drafted against its board's published content outline and exam format, then run through a structured multi-pass clinical review — accuracy, internal consistency, rubric quality, and exam fidelity — before it is published. Rubrics weight the decisions that matter, and every case defines the unsafe answers that trigger a safety flag.
Continuously reviewed
Every report carries a "Flag this case" control — any resident or program director can challenge a case's clinical content, and flags route directly to the founder for review. The library grows weekly, and cases are corrected the moment a flag is validated.
What Medopsy is not
Medopsy is an independent education company. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ABA, ABEM, or ABS, and practice sessions use entirely fictional patients — no PHI is ever involved.
